Editor's Note: The Press asked Salisbury Middle School students if there should be a summer reading list and if so, who should choose the books.
Dear Editor:
We should not have a summer reading list for students. For one thing, forced reading is unquestionably unappealing! How would you like to be stuck in your room on a beautiful day reading a book? NO! It is amazing for kids to have a care-free summer without the worries of school work. Do you really want to take away all of that? Surely, you can overlook this crazy idea and let kids keep their care-free summer fun.
