Theft from vehicle

An unknown actor removed a $20 bill and change from an unlocked vehicle 1:46 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 800 block of Robin Hood Drive, Allentown.

A resident in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue, Allentown, reported 10:53 a.m. Oct. 21 an unknown actor went through an unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet containing credit cards and a Delaware River Joint Toll Commission badge.

A resident in the 900 block of Beth Lane, Allentown, reported 9:20 a.m. Oct. 21 an unknown actor went through a car and removed change. This has happened before to this homeowner.

A resident in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue, Allentown, reported 2:44 p.m. Oct. 21, an unknown actor went through two unlocked cars and removed a TomTom GPS unit valued at $150.

A resident in the 1100 block of Flexer Avenue, Allentown, reported 11:41 a.m. Oct. 23 an unknown actor went through two unlocked vehicles and removed $45 in cash.

A resident in the 3000 block of Essex Road, Allentown, reported 6:57 a.m. Oct. 24 an unknown person went through a vehicle and removed a laptop, iPod and iPhone, all in a gym bag in the back of the vehicle. The homeowner believes the car was locked; however there was no damage to the vehicle and no signs of forced entry. Total loss is $1,000.

A resident in the 2400 block of South Bradford St., Allentown, reported 8:44 a.m. Oct. 25 an unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a Coach purse with $100 cash and credit cards.

A resident in the 1400 block of Middlesex Road, Allentown, reported 8:30 a.m. Oct. 29 an unknown actor went through an unlocked vehicle; nothing was removed.

A resident in the 3000 block of Sussex Road, Allentown reported 8:06 a.m. Oct. 29 an unknown actor went through two unlocked vehicles; nothing was removed.

A resident in the 1400 block of Middlesex Road, Allentown, reported 8:31 a.m. Oct. 29 an unknown actor went through an unlocked car and removed a small backpack and gym clothes which were later found across the street.

A resident in the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue, Allentown, reported 8:15 a.m. Oct. 29 an unknown actor went through an unlocked vehicle and removed a checkbook, $35 worth of change, a mini video recorder worth $220 and headphones valued at $129.

A resident in the 1400 block of 31st Street, Allentown, reported 8:10 a.m. Oct. 29 an unknown actor removed $20 in cash and a Garmen GPS valued at $120 from an unlocked vehicle.

A resident in the 600 block of East Federal Street, Allentown, reported 4:23 p.m. Oct. 29 theft of a registration plate on a vehicle.

A resident in the 1400 block of Middlesex Road, Allentown, reported 4:38 a.m. Oct. 29 an unknown actor removed a Thirty One purse from an unlocked vehicle. The purse, valued at $135, contained credit cards and a driver's license.

A resident in the 3000 block of Grace Street, Allentown, reported 7:23 p.m. Oct. 30, an unknown person went through a vehicle but nothing was removed.

Retail theft

Miriam Cruz, 22, of Emmaus, was charged with allegedly removing clothing and jewelry valued at $163 from Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown 4:15 p.m. Oct. 18. Cruz was also charged with allegedly removing purses, clothing, jewelry and shoes valued at $183.90 from Stein Mart, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 18. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A customer at Ross Dress for Less, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown, reported 8:15 p.m. Oct. 29 setting an iPhone on a bench in the shoe area and when she returned to the area, the phone was gone. The phone is valued at $500.

Theft

A patron at the Commix Hotel, 3245 W. Emaus Ave., Allentown, reported she left her Vera Bradley wallet at a table 3:50 a.m. Oct. 19. When she returned to the table, the wallet containing credit cards and $20 in cash was gone.

An employee at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown, reported 7:20 p.m. Oct. 22 she left her purse in the bathroom and when she returned, it was gone. The purse contained her keys, driver's license, wallet, credit cards and cash.

A student at Salisbury High School reported 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31 the theft of a pair of Nike running sneakers removed from a bag on the floor during football practice. The shoes were valued at $45.

Criminal mischief

A 16-year-old juvenile, of Emmaus, reported vandalism to her vehicle 9:23 p.m. Oct. 25 while at Devil's Folly, 3350 Devonshire Road, Allentown. She said as she was pulling out of the parking lot, she drove past two black males who were in the road, heard something hit her rear windshield but she did not stop because she was scared. She drove to the Emmaus football field and called Salisbury police.

A resident in the 1700 block of Victoria Circle, Allentown, reported 12:15 p.m. Oct. 31 damage to the driver's side window of a vehicle; nothing was removed from the vehicle.

A Salisbury police officer, while on patrol, noticed a sliding window smashed on a white van 2:43 a.m. Oct. 31 in the 1000 block of Debbie Lane. Nothing was removed from the vehicle.

A resident in the 700 block of East Paoli Street, Allentown, reported 3:31 p.m. Oct. 31 an unknown actor broke a rear driver's side window on a vehicle but nothing was removed from the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle was between $200 and $300.

A resident in the 1600 block of Victoria Circle, Allentown, reported 3:07 p.m. Oct. 31 an unknown actor smashed the driver window of a vehicle.

K-9 assist

K-9 officer Fonzie was called to assist a police department in Laurys Station in search of a suicidal non-violent male. Fonzie found the man in a sleeping bag while tracking his scent. The troopers took the man to the hospital for evaluation.

Suspicious activity

A volunteer with the Lehigh Valley Amateur Astrological Society, 620 E. Rock Road, Allentown, reported finding a 22-calibur shell casing on the property 11:09 a.m. Oct. 19.
