Members of the Robert M. Fegely VFW Post 8282, 1522 Butz Road, Brein-igsville, will be having a Veterans Appreciation breakfast 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 3.

Menu includes eggs, pancakes, French toast, meat, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

This event is open to the public and all veterans will eat free.

Upper Macungie Township and the Pa. Game Commission are offering a hunter safety course from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 10 at Independent Park, 150 Independent Road, Brein-igsville. Everyone 12 years or older can attend.

The course is free but pre-registration is needed at pgc.state.pa.us.

The township and AARP will be offering an 8-hour safe driver course 1-5 p.m. Nov. 12 and 14 and a 4-hour refresher course 1-5 p.m. Nov. 13 at Independent Park Community Center, 150 Independent Road, Breinigsville.

These courses are designed for qualified drivers 50 and older.

There are no tests and membership in AARP is not necessary.

The one day four-hour course is only open to those who provide evidence of taking a class during the previous 36 months.

Class size is limited, so advanced registration is advised.

Those completing the course will be issued a certificate which will be valid for three years.
