Congrats to all the winners in Sheckler's pumpkin decorating contest. Winners in the following categories are as follows: Funniest, Ava Janny; Scariest, Colin Germano; Prettiest, Ava Baraket; Most Unusual, Hannah Kurczeski; Most Colorful. Olivia Burnett; Best Animal Theme, Cody Kurczsky; and Best Classroom Theme, Mrs. Conner's class. Congratulations again to all the winners and to all who participated. Winners received certificates and ribbons.

The Sheckler Pumpkin Patch was ready to harvest on Oct. 24, and Sheckler kindergarteners picked their favorites as part of their Fall Festivity activities. A great big thank you to Seiple's Farm for donating the pumpkins for this annual kindergarten event.

The monthly Home and School meeting will be held on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. in the school library. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

Students who kept positive behavior for the month of October will get to enjoy a game day reward on Nov. 4. They will be allowed to bring in board games from home if they would like to play along with their classmates.

The Cherrydale fundraiser pick up is scheduled for Nov. 6 in Sheckler's gym. Remember, frozen foods must be picked up on delivery day or else they will be donated to the Catasauqua Area Community Food Bank. Students who sold 10 or more items will be given a ticket to attend the Mega Moola event held at Sheckler on Saturday, Nov. 8. Students must have a signed ticket to attend.
