The Press is again collecting food and hygiene items along with Christmas cards for men and women stationed and spending Christmas away from home in such countries as Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.

Donations will be collected at the Press offices, 1633 North 26th St., Allentown through Nov. 1.

Suggested items include Power Bars, cereal bars, trail mix, granola bars and non-perishable healthy snacks; toothbrushes and small toothpaste; foot powder and foot cream for athlete's foot; AT&T Global Pre-Paid calling cards (available at www.aafes.com); money for shipping costs.
