Thanks to the efforts from Sheckler Elementary School students, the box top collection for the fall was a huge success.
The school collected 23,100 BoxTops for Education from General Mills products, earning $2,310 that will be used to benefit the students.
Classrooms with the biggest collections are Mrs. Hurd's kindergarten with 1,193, Mrs. Dunn's first-grade class with 1,325, Mr. Evans' second-grade class with 2,035, Mrs. Laubenstein's third-grade class with 997 and Mr. Burker's fourth-grade class with 2,640.
A big thank you goes to Mr. Burker's class for tallying and graphing the totals during the contest. The winning classes earned a party provided by Home and School.
The next collection contest begins next week and concludes in March.
