The Catasauqua Middle School community is encouraged to celebrate Red Ribbon Week, today through Oct. 31.
Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide effort to help prevent the spread and use of illegal drugs.
Today is Red Out Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear red and students will receive a pencil with an anti-drug message.
Monday, Oct. 28, is Sock it to Drugs Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear crazy socks.
Tuesday, Oct. 29, is Turn Your Back on Drugs Day. Students and staff may wear a shirt or any article of clothing backwards or inside out.
Wednesday, Oct. 30, is Be on a Drug-Free Team Day. Students and staff may wear their favorite team gear.
Thursday, Oct. 31, is Put a Cap on Drugs Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear a crazy hat.

Trick-or-treat night will take place in Catasauqua and North Catasauqua Saturday, Oct. 26, 6-8 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 27, 6-8 p.m.
