Harassment
Reported by a 20-year-old woman, of the 1700 block of Elbow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors sent inappropriate text messages to the woman's cell phone between Sept. 22 and Sept. 24.
Drug charges
A 25-year-old Wescosville man will be charged with drug possession after he allegedly was found unconscious in a residence in the 4800 block of Liberty Lane, Lower Macungie Township. Police were called to the residence on a report of a possible overdose 11:20 a.m. Oct. 15 and found drugs and paraphernalia on an ottoman in the living room at the residence. Charges will be filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Criminal trespass
Zahirah Yasmin Rana, 24, of Allentown, was accused of criminal trespass after she allegedly entered a home in the 4000 block of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 6 a.m. Oct. 9. Rana allegedly entered the residence at least twice after being warned against trespassing. Charges will be filed in District Court 31-3-03.
DUI
Amber Lynn Abel, 21, of Macungie, was arrested for driving under the influence after she was stopped for an alleged summary traffic violation on Wild Cherry Lane and Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township 12:47 a.m. Oct. 10.
Sean William Printz, 19, of Macungie, was arrested for driving under the influence after he was stopped for an alleged traffic violation, Lower Macungie Road at Ivy Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:27 a.m. Oct. 15. Printz allegedly showed signs of intoxication and a strong odor of marijuana came from inside the vehicle. Marijuana and smoking devices allegedly were found in the vehicle. The investigation continues.
Fadi Makhoul, 19, of Whitehall Township, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after an alleged traffic stop on Hamilton Boulevard southbound north of Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:11 a.m. Oct. 14. Makhoul allegedly exhibited signs of impairment.
Retail theft
A 15-year-old male, no address given, took merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:53 p.m. Oct. 5. Charges to be filed.
Amy Kressler and Amanda Smith, both of Mertztown, were accused of retail theft after they allegedly took $49.35 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Oct. 14. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Forgery
A 51-year-old woman, no address given, cashed a forged check at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:41 p.m. Oct. 11. The investigation continues.
Theft by unlawful taking
Reported by AT&T, 7450 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took approximately 14 feet of copper busbars from inside the fence of a cell tower substation sometime between Aug. 18 and Sept 18. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Burglary
Reported in a residence on Hilltop Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a residence and took numerous items sometime between Oct. 2 and Oct. 13. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Attempted theft from vehicle
Reported in the 7200 block of Stack Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered and searched a vehicle between 8 p.m. Oct. 10 and 7 a.m. Oct. 11. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. The investigation continues.
Criminal mischief
Reported by a resident in the 5300 block of Princeton Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor damaged a kitchen window with a golf ball 6:41 p.m. Sept. 29.
Reported in the 1000 block of Pine Grove Circle, Lower Macungie Township, damage to a wooden ladder 2:37 p.m. Oct. 14. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Stolen property recovered
Reported in the 3100 block of Sheffield Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a stolen purse and credit cards were found 8 a.m. Oct. 11. The investigation continues.
