Jewish Family Services will be having a benefit dinner-theater program titled "An Evening with Libby Skala" at 8 p.m. on Oct. 19, at the Allentown Jewish Community Center.

Skala will portray her Hollywood grandmother Lilia Skala, co-star of "Lillies of the Field" and other films.

Proceeds from the event will benefit a remembrance of the late Jay Scherline Esq.

The Friendship Circle meets 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays in the Kline Auditorium at the Allentown Jewish Community Center, for a lively and enjoyable program and a delicious lunch. They welcome adults over age 50.

Paid members will be treated to four major programs and a delicious, usually catered, lunch and special program.
