St. John's United Church Christ, Laurys Station, will be having a craft fair and quilt show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 12.

Vendors will be set up in several rooms with a variety of crafts, while quilts will be displayed in the sanctuary.

The event includes refreshments, baked goods and a Chinese auction.

This is an opportunity to do holiday shopping and select gifts for all occasions.

Schnecksville Grange, 5322 Route 873, will have its fall flea market and bake sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 12.

The kitchen will be open for lunch.

Collectables, toys, clothing, household items and more will be for sale.

The next fundraiser for Northern Valley EMS is an apple dumpling sale.

Place orders by Oct. 15. Pick-up is Oct. 20 and 21 at the NOVA building in Ormroad.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have a Country Holidays Craft Show 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 19.

Santa's Attic will include gently used holiday items, while church pictures and cards will be available for purchase.

Schnecksville Fire Company will have a flea market in the pavilion from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 20. The kitchen will be open.

The Upper Lehigh Historical Society will participate in the Open Gate Farm Tour noon-5 p.m. Oct. 20.

The Schneck House and property will be open to visitors to enjoy black kettle soup and baked goods, which will be available for purchase.

Pastorius Home Association, Germansville, is sponsoring a bus trip on Oct. 27 to an Oktoberfest at the Taj Mahal, Atlantic City.

The bus will depart from Neffs at 8:45 a.m.

The Oktoberfest features German/Austrian cuisine, ethnic entertainment and vendors, including several direct from Europe.

Parkland Community Library has arranged a fundraiser with Five Guys Burgers and Fries, 4025 Tilghman St., Allentown, and 914 Airport Road, Bethlehem, on Oct. 17, 18 and 19.

Fifteen percent of meal and beverage purchases will benefit the library.
