Theft

Nicholas Carman, 29, of Allentown, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property 10 a.m. Sept. 21. Carman allegedly removed various items from offices at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, including $10 cash from a purse and an iPad. Hospital personnel alerted police after reviewing surveillance video.

An unknown actor removed a case of water from a porch in the 1200 block of East Emmaus Avenue 3:57 p.m. Sept. 21.

An unknown actor removed a wallet from a purse in the labor and delivery department of Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. 7:25 pm. Sept. 21.

A resident in the 800 block of East Paoli Street reported the theft of a phone from the home 2:27 p.m. Sept. 22.

A resident in a home in the 900 block of East Federal Street reported the theft of a computer from a garage 1:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

An iPhone 5 was removed from a bag in the bleachers at Salisbury High School during a soccer game 7:55 p.m. Sept. 25.

Theft from vehicle

A resident in the 1300 block of Tweed Avenue reported the theft of a pistol from an unlocked vehicle 12:06 p.m. Sept. 21.

An unknown person removed a navigation system from a truck parked at Knopf Automotive, 3401 Lehigh St. noon Sept. 23. The value of the system is $1,840.

An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Flexer Avenue, 11:05 a.m. Sept. 27 and removed a red iPod Nano valued at $100.

Graffiti

During a routine check at Laubach Park, police found graffiti on the walls in the bathrooms 8:08 a.m. Sept. 22.

DUI

Daniel Cornwall, 49, of Allentown was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue 7:54 p.m. Sept. 24. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Health Network for treatment.

Francisco Vazquez, 43, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 200 block of East Emmaus Avenue 7:06 p.m. Oct. 2. He was taken to Central Booking.

K-9 assist

K-9 police dog Fonzie was called to assist the state police with a drug seach of a vehicle parked at Knights Inn and Suites, 1880 Steelstone Road, Bethlehem, 3:35 p.m. Sept. 24.

Retail theft

Sandor Meszaros, 79, of Bethlehem, was charged with retail theft 1:44 p.m. Sept. 25 after allegedly removing a can of hairspray and vitamins from Health Spectrum Pharmacy, 1202 S. Cedar Crest Blvd.

Nicholas Carman, 29, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly removing $364.94 worth of household items from BonTon, 3300 Lehigh St. 8 p.m. Sept. 25.

Illegal dumping

Employees at Penn Treaty Insurance, 3440 Lehigh St., Allentown, observed a person drop off a couch and two mattresses at their Dumpster 10:37 a.m. Sept. 25. After contacting police with a license plate number, the owner was contacted to remove the items from the dumpster area.

Police were contacted after seeing a pile of scrap wood and shrubbery left at Walking Purchase Park on Constitution Drive 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
