LeatherCrafters 4-H Club of Northampton County is looking for new members.
Youth ages 8-18 are encouraged to join the club to learn how to make objects out of leather. The first meeting will take place Friday, Oct. 18. Starting in January, meetings will take place the first and third Fridays of each month through April. Meetings are held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moorestown, from 7:30-9 p.m.
LeatherCrafters 4-H members learn how to tool and craft leather and craft projects which will be exhibited at the annual 4-H Fair in August and then used by the members.
Projects range from very simple items for the less experienced through more intricate and detailed items for the more experienced.
Fees apply for membership and materials.
Membership is limited due to the nature of the projects and the help required, so reserve your space early.
