Aggravated assault

Brandon Diburt, 19, of Wescosville, was apprehended by Pennsylvania State Police in the parking lot of Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest, after an incident on eastbound Interstate 78 at the exit to Cedar Crest Boulevard 12:40 p.m. Aug. 30. Diburt allegedly struck a male, of Wescosville, several times in the face, causing the male to lose control of the car he was driving. The driver pulled to the side of the road. Diburt then allegedly pulled out a knife and attempted to stab the driver. The two wrestled after Diburt dropped the knife and Diburt allegedly walked away from the scene of the fight.

Found items

A red plastic five gallon gasoline container, a white plastic five gallon bucket and a black plastic rectangular container were found along the roadway in the 6800 block of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 8 a.m. Sept. 17.

Criminal mischief

Reported in the 8000 block of Heritage Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors poured detergent onto a vehicle between 8 p.m. Sept. 19 and 1 a.m. Sept. 20.

DUI

Mark Kress, 23, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Main Street and Klines Road, Emmaus Borough, 12:54 a.m. Sept. 20. Kress allegedly exhibited signs of impairment at the time.

A 17-year-old male was taken into custody for driving under the influence of a controlled substance after he allegedly was found seated in the driver seat of his vehicle with the keys in the ignition on reports of a suspicious vehicle spotted on Hillcrest Drive and Laurel Lane, Lower Milford Township, 11:04 p.m. Sept. 19. The teen was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for processing and a blood test. Charges to be filed in juvenile court.

Edwin Cordero, 23, of Allentown, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped for a traffic violation on the State Route 222 bypass near Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:44 p.m. Sept. 12. Cordero allegedly showed signs of intoxication during the traffic stop. He was processed and released. Charges are pending laboratory results.

Jeffrey Scott Davis, 34, of Macungie, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint on State Route 222 at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:49 a.m. Sept. 7. Davis was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.

David Michael Carlson, 33, of Schwenksville, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia after a traffic stop for numerous traffic violations on Brookside Road and East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:17 p.m. Aug. 22. Carlson allegedly showed signs of being impaired by drugs during field sobriety tests and was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center for a blood test. Charges are pending laboratory results.

Bryan James McNally, of Breinigsville, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence after he allegedly was seen driving in the parking lots of Lower Macungie Middle School and The Cambridge Schools along Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:47 p.m. Sept. 25. McNally was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center where a legal blood draw was conducted. Charges are pending.

Nadine Bott, 45, of Macungie, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence after a vehicle stop on Brookside Road at the entrance to the Lower Macungie Township building complex, 3400 Brookside Road. Bott was traveling northbound when she allegedly disregarded a temporary traffic signal and drove against southbound traffic. Charges will be filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Attempted theft

Reported by a resident in the 4900 block of Briarwood Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 11:23 a.m. Aug. 17, an actor sent a check to the resident for furniture posted on Craigslist. The check was fraudulent and was turned into Bank of America's Fraud Department. The township resident did not send the furniture or cash the check.

Theft from a motor vehicle

Reported in the 2000 block of Peppermint Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a Garmin GPS system and a pair of wireless headphones were taken from a vehicle between 7 p.m. Sept. 21 and 6 a.m. Sept. 22. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
