The Bethlehem Area Public Library will be accepting bids on a very rare book at the fall book sale noon to 8 p.m. Sept.18 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21.

The rare book is a donated limited edition hardcover with gilt edge copy of "Israel: A Personal History" signed by Israel's first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion. Judaica and books relating to the Jewish Holocaust and an additional 10,000 books, DVDs and CDs in good to excellent condition will be on sale at the main library, 11 W. Church St.
