The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center will hold the fifth biennial Genealogy Conference Sept. 14 in the Academic Forum, Kutztown University.
A preconference guided bus tour of the Allemangel area, Berks and Lehigh Counties, will be available to conference attendees Sept. 13.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Don Yoder, an authority on Pennsylvania German culture and folklore.
Using a folklife approach to culture, he will describe what the everyday life of the Pennsylvania Dutch was like in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
