The Marine Band of Allentown will be featuring soloist Abby Kern, a sophomore at Parkland High School, at its 3 p.m. Sept. 15 concert inWest Park, between 15th and 16th streets and Linden and Turner streets, Allentown.

Kern starred in Parkland High's musical "The Phantom of the Opera," which won the Freddys Outstanding Overall Production of a musical award.

The concert is free and there is a large seating area with benches.
