Theft

Reported in the 6000 block of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a yellow gold engagment ring with three diamonds and an attached wedding ring were taken between 7 p.m. Aug. 26 and 7 p.m. Aug. 27. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported at Urology Specialists, 5018 Medical Center Circle, Lower Macungie Township, un- known actors entered the office after business hours and took $70 in petty/co-pay cash from a deposit bag Aug. 27 and took additional money totaling $485 Aug. 29 through Sept. 3 from another office suite there. The thefts were reported on Sept. 3. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Found property

Recovered at the corner of Fresh Meadow Drive and Spring Ridge Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a bicycle was left on the corner between 5 and 7 p.m. Aug. 22. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Retail theft

Donald J. Niquette, 53, Bethlehem, was taken into custody for retail theft after he allegedly took multiple items totaling $171.80 and attempted to leave Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:17 p.m. Aug. 31. When loss prevention personnel attempted to stop Niquette he allegedly left the items and exited the store. Niquette allegedly fled north on Hamilton Boulevard and was taken into police custody at Brookside Road and Hamilton Boulevard. Charges are pending in District Court 31-3-02.

Walter Mercado-Milanes, 46, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly grabbed a mirror and an air conditioner and swapped tags from other similar merchandise of lesser value at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:07 p.m. Sept. 2. Mercado-Milanes next allegedly paid for the items at the lesser tagged value and walked out of the store. Loss prevention personnel approached Mercado-Milanes and detained him before he was taken into police custody and transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Juan Jose Rivera, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly switched price tags on a carpet at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:47 p.m. Sept. 2. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Burglary

Reported on Wisteria Circle, Lower Macungie Township, a black and red 24-inch Honda bicycle was taken sometime between between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 29. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 6800 block of Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors attempted to gain entry into a residence by forcibly opening two rear windows and a rear sliding glass door. Two window screens and a screen door were damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 5000 block of Tomahawk Lane, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors entered a residence and took legal paperwork from an office there between Aug. 15 and 23.

Theft from a motor vehicle

Reported at a residence on Fairway Lane, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor took several credit cards, a driver's license and an undetermined amount of cash from a vehicle parked in a driveway sometime between midnight and 8 a.m. Sept. 1. The actor used at least one of the credit cards. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

DUI

Alicia A. Lites, 40, of Lansdowne, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after she was stopped for a traffic violation on West Rock Road at Interstate 78, Salisbury Township, 8:50 p.m. Aug. 31.

Public

Drunkenness

Jessica Carmen Khouri, 37, of Orefield, was charged with public drunkenness after she was spotted allegedly staggering on the sidewalk while walking toward Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:16 p.m. Aug. 30. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Criminal mischief

Reported in the 5700 block of Fresh Meadow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a residence was struck with eggs overnight Aug. 25. No damage to the house was reported.

Reported at New Wave Car Wash, 3156 State Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor painted a white ring on the pavement 7:15 a.m. Aug. 3.

Theft of a motor vehicle

Reported in the Village Round area of Lower Macungie Township, a blue 1997 Ford Explorer SUV was removed overnight Aug. 31. Through a police investigation it was determined the vehicle was taken by a friend of the vehicle's owner. The owner refused to press charges.

Theft from a

motor vehicle

Reported in the 7200 block of Heather Road and the 1200 block of Walnut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took cosmetics, a backpack, and two packages of Nike brand black socks from a vehicle at Heather Road and took a Tom Tom brand navigation system from a vehicle on Walnut Lane overnight Sept. 9. Both vehicles were unlocked. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
