Retail theft
Stephanie Ann Bowman, 29, and Joseph Lawrence Kalmar, 31, both of Lyons, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly took two crossbows from Walmart, 1091 Millcreek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:30 p.m. Aug. 6. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Reported at Walmart, 1091 Millcreek Road, Lower Macungie Township, a gazebo valued at $94 was taken 3 p.m. Aug. 25.
DUI
Joshua Westbrook, 33, of Allentown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a two-vehicle accident along Interstate 78 eastbound at mile marker 56.6, Salisbury Township, 2:57 a.m. Aug. 28. Westbrook allegedly rear-ended a pickup truck driven by a 26-year-old man from Bangor. The pickup truck crossed eastbound lanes of the highway, struck a wall along the eastbound shoulder and overturned. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest, for treatment of injuires.
Theft
Reported along Barnside Court, Lower Macungie Township, tools and electrical equipment valued at $2,000 were taken between Aug. 12 and 23. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported in the 6500 block of Hickory Road, Lower Macungie Township, a black 36-inch Kenmore gas grill was taken from the back porch of a residence between Aug. 24. and 26.
Reported in the 7400 block of Woodbine Road, Lower Macungie Township, an Apple iPad tablet computer was taken between 11 a.m. Aug. 23 and 1:30 a.m. Aug. 26. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Theft from
motor vehicle
Reported in the 7100 block of Heather Road, Lower Macungie Township, a GPS navigation unit and a checkbook were taken from an unlocked vehicle between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 28. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Criminal mischief
Reported at Lenape Park, 6102 Kings Highway South, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors threw rocks at a park building resulting in damage to an outdoor electric meter. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported at Sodexo Industries, 6081 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors set fire to a recycling Dumpster and damaged the property, then broke windows at a nearby abandoned trailer park overnight Aug. 5. The investigation continues.

Reported in the 5700 block of Fresh Meadow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, two window screens were damaged suggesting an attempt to enter the residence between 8 p.m. July 25 and 2 p.m. July 27. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Harassment
Reported in the 6400 block of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a woman was punched in the chest and thrown to the ground several times during an argument.
