Criminal mischief

An unknown actor took a large rock from a yard in the 1100 block of Lichtenwalner Avenue 7:10 a.m. Aug. 24 and smashed a vehicle window. The damage to the window is $500.

An unknown actor smashed a rear window of a vehicle in the driveway of a home located in the 1500 block of Paxford Road 7:54 a.m. Aug. 25.

Assault

Dennis Paynter, 46, of Bethlehem, was charged with aggravated assault and harrassment 9:30 a.m. Aug. 26 after allegedly punching a victim in the 1900 block of Church Road. The victim suffered a broken rib, bruising and a punctured lung. Paynter was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Theft from vehicle

A resident in the 2700 block of Coventry Circle reported 11:16 a.m. Aug. 28 an unknown person removed change from an unlocked vehicle.

A resident in the 1000 block of Hawthorn Road reported 7:14 a.m. Aug. 28 an unknown person shattered the passenger front side window of the vehicle and removed a purse containing a debit card and $50 in cash as well as personal items. The purse was found later on Buckingham Drive, however, the cash and debit card were still missing.

A resident in the 1000 block of Bridle Path Road reported 10:14 a.m. Aug. 28 an unknown person removed change and stamps from an unlocked vehicle.

A resident in the 900 block of Beth Lane reported 9 a.m. Aug. 28 an unknown person removed change from an unlocked vehicle. The resident does have surveillance video which will be reviewed and turned over to the police.

Theft

A resident in the 1700 block of Church Road reported 10:45 a.m. Aug. 28 a visitor is suspected of removing prescription medications from a purse in the home. Police are investigating.
