Caroline M. Moyer, 86, formerly of Macungie, died Aug. 20, 2013, at Emmaus Village. She was the wife of the late Noah J. Moyer, who died in 1992. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Styre) Rote.

She was employed at Allen Organ Company for 36 years, retiring in 1989.

She was a member of Solomon's U.C.C. and was a former member of Perkasie Senior Citizens.

She loved people, bingo and card games, the Phillies and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The highlight of her retirement years was singing on stage with Merle Haggard at the Grand Ole Opry.

She is survived by sons, the Rev. Dr. Donald E. and his wife, Susan, of Gilbertsville, and David J. and his wife, Brenda, of Macungie; grandchildren, Deanna Portz and Sean, Derek, and Joshua; six great-grandchildren; two surviving sisters.
