Salisbury Youth Association football teams played well on the second week of the Colonial League Youth Football League's 2013 season.

The flag team, which does not keep scores, has outplayed both of its opponents this season, while the 90- and 110-pound teams both improved to 2-0 with wins over Saucon Valley on Labor Day Weekend.

Salisbury scored two touchdowns to Saucon Valley's one in last week's flag football game against the Panthers.

The Falcon flag team also beat Wilson in it's opener, four touchdowns to one.

90s

The Salisbury Youth Association 90-pound football team won its second game of the season behind a great defensive performance. The Falcons beat Saucon Valley 12-0.

110s

The SYA 110-pound team improved to 2-0 with a 25-7 win over Saucon Valley last week. Chad Parton scored two touchdowns and Chase Fenstemaker had one for Salisbury. Quinn Warmkessel caught three passes in the game.

The Falcon defense was stingy, allowing just one touchdown. Special team also contributed to the win as Parton returned a punt for a touchdown.

Saturday, August 31, 2013 - Salisbury at Saucon Valley

With a great performance by the defense the 90 -pound falcon team won their 2nd game beating Saucon Valley 12-0.

1) Picture 5051 is Salisbury vs. Wilson - Dylan Popovich #23 scored the first touchdown to start the season for the SYA Flag's Team. The Falcons beat Wilson four touchdowns to one.

Game Information: Sunday, August 25, 2013 played at Salisbury High School Stadium.

2) Picture 5888 is Salisbury vs. Saucon Valley. After fighting not only the heat and the strong competition of the Saucon Valley Panthers, the Falcons were able beat the Panthers 2 touchdowns to one. The Falcons showed a strong defense against the Panthers.
