State police

Terroristic threats

A 51-year-old male, of Allentown, a 28-year-old male, of Bethlehem, and a 36 year-old-male, of Freemansburg, were involved in a situation 2:30 p.m. Aug. 16 when they went to the 4600 block of Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, to repair a vehicle sold to an unidentified actor. The actor became irritated because he felt the victims sold him a bad vehicle with a fake inspection. The actor felt intimidated by the three victims because he did not know why they were at his residence. The actor told the victims to get off his property and threatened the victims and their families if they did not leave.

Control of alarm devices

State police responded to the 7500 block of Industrial Parkway, Lower Macungie Township, 6:10 a.m. Aug. 6 for an alarm activation. It was determined it was a false alarm and the fourth alarm at that location within a 12-month period. The actor was cited.

Robbery

An unknown Hispanic male entered a residence in the 3000 block of Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, 11 a.m. Aug. 22 through an open rear door and confronted the victim inside the home. The suspect was armed with a small black handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim then provided the actor with money from her purse at which time the actor fled the residence on foot in an unknown direction. Troopers from Pennsylvania State Police - Fogelsville responded to the scene, however the actor was not located. An investigation is ongoing.

Retail theft

State police responded to Giant, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 6 p.m. Aug. 4 for the report of a retail theft. Loss prevention personnel observed two unknown actors take possession of various items valued at $663.58 and exit the store without paying for the items.

Nazeer Bassam, 18, of Allentown, and a 17-year-old juvenile male, of Allentown, were arrested 12:59 a.m. Aug. 20 for allegedly removing two packs of cigarettes from Wawa, 3321 Willow Road, Lower Macungie Township. Both were transported to Lehigh County Prison for processing and citations were issued to both individuals.

Harassment

Charges have been filed against Larry D. Raudenbush, 77, of Old Zionsville, and Philip M. Buss, 77, of Emmaus, after an alleged argument and physical altercation 7 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 6300 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township.

David Vincent Hutters, 43, of Lower Macungie Township, was cited for disorderly conduct and harassment after a situation 2:41 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 5600 block of Wood Lane, Lower Macungie Township. Hutters allegedly was banging on the victim's door threatening the victim and causing a disturbance. Police said Hutters was allegedly found in an intoxicated state. The incident is pending court proceedings.

Forgery

A 24-year-old female, of Allentown, told state police she received a counterfeit $100 bill from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township. The bill was verified as counterfeit and sent to the Secret Service.

Theft by unlawful taking

PPL contacted state police regarding a copper grounds theft on Palm Road, Lower Milford Township sometime between midnight July 19 and 11 p.m. July 26. Approximately 30 4-0 copper grounds were dug from the fence line at this substation by unknown actors.

An unknown actor removed a black Century lock box and its contents from a home in the 5200 block of Brocton Court, Macungie, sometime between 6 p.m. Aug 17 and 11 p.m. Aug. 18. The lock box contained two 110 milligram bottles of Methadone.

Theft from a motor vehicle

While returning to her vehicle in the parking lot area of Health Network Lab Services, Trexlertown, 5:35 p.m. Aug. 15, the victim noticed her driver's side mirror missing from her vehicle.

Criminal mischief

An unknown actor broke an egg on the victim's siding of the front of her residence in the 7100 block of Heather Road, Lower Macungie Township sometime between 10 p.m. Aug. 6 and 8 a.m. Aug. 7.

An unknown actor broke the victim's outdoor light valued at approximately $50 in the 1000 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township sometime between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 16.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Brian Christopher Hamersly, of Northampton, was stopped 3:35 a.m. Aug. 17 on Lehigh Street at Interstate 78, Allentown, after he was allegedly observed speeding. Upon approach of the vehicle, Hamersly retrieved information from the glove box when police allegedly observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Charges are pending.

Public drunkenness

Police investigated the report of public drunkenness 1:51 a.m. Aug. 22 along Hamilton Boulevard at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township. A witness observed a female walking and falling into the roadway. An investigation revealed the female was intoxicated in a manner that endangered her and others. Charges have been filed.
