Western Salisbury Fire Department firefighters are called to South Mall to mitigate the effects of fluid spills after a crash Aug. 23 at South Mall. Firefighters and medics from Emmaus Ambulance Corps attend to one of the drivers while other firefighters spread absorbent material at the scene. The driver of the 2007 Saturn shown, Daniel King, of Greenfield, Pa., was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment. The driver of the other vehicle, Karen Meynardi, of Macungie, was not injured.
