Parkland graduate
has June wedding
Diana Leigh Bauer and Nicholas (Nick) F. Wightman were married in a double-ring ceremony June 29 at the Joseph Ambler Inn, North Wales.
The bride is the daughter of Alfred (Bud) Bauer Jr. of Orefield and Janet Gaumer of Whitehall.
She is a 2002 graduate of Parkland High School and a 2005 graduate of West Chester University, from which she received a degree in criminal justice.
The bride is employed by Hareysville Insurance Co., Mt. Laurel, N.J.
Her husband is the son of Charles Wightman of Port St. Lucy, Fla., and Liz Wightman of Atco, N.J.
He is a 2003 graduate of Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, N.J., and a 2006 graduate of Camden County College, from which he received a degree in criminal justice.
He is employed at Valley Forge Casino.
The Rev. Glenn Entwistle Jr. officiated at the ceremony.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white gown by Demetrois.
She carried pink and white roses and white calla lilies.
Kristin Schwoebel of Havertown was the matron of honor and Christina Konczki of Philadelphia was the maid of honor.
Nicci Young of Aston, Delaware County; Jill Gambino of Middletown, Del.; Glory Billman of Allentown; and Mandy Bauer, half-sister of the bride from Orefield; were the bridesmaids.
The attendants wore black, strapless cocktail dresses by Bill Levkoff.
Tom Hamilton of Atco was the best man.
Groomsmen were Daniel Bauer, brother of the bride, from North Whitehall, and Jeff MacBride, Jeff Kinslow and Zach Keeley, all of Atco.
Zach Bauer, of Orefield, half-brother of the bride, was the junior groomsman.
The reception was held at the Joseph Ambler Inn.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Bensalem.
