Timothy and Donna Anger of Emmaus announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Jean to Philip Rains, son of Joseph and Lenna Rains, of Mukwonago, Wis.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, and a 2013 graduate of Baptist College of Ministry, Menomonee Falls, Wis.

She is employed by Lehigh Valley Baptist Church and Ministries.

Her fiancé, a 2013 graduate of Baptist College of Ministry, Menomonee Falls, Wis., is attending the college as a graduate student.

He is employed by Mukwonago Baptist Church, Mukwonago, Wis.

A Jan. 2, 2014 wedding is planned.
