Roginsky to serve as
orientation assistant
Katlyn Roginsky of Bath is serving as an orientation assistant at Alvernia University for the fall 2013 semester.
Roginsky is a biochemistry major at Alvernia and a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.
Orientation assistants and orientation weekend leaders are current students who assist in making new students feel welcome.
The program is competitive, and involves an application process, in-person interviews, good academic standing and training.

Carol Ann Cunningham of Catasauqua graduated with distinction earning a master's degree in education from Cabrini College May 19.

William Ambrosino of Northampton was named to the dean's list at Villanova University for the spring 2013 semester.
Ambrosino is studying astronomy and astrophysics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Krall inducted into honor society
Elizabeth Krall of Whitehall was recently inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi education honor society at Susquehanna University.
Krall is a rising senior majoring in music education. She is a 2010 graduate of Whitehall High School and the daughter of Douglas and Deborah Krall.
Kappa Delta Pi is an honor society for current and future educators designed to promote excellence in, and recognize outstanding contributions to, education.
Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high achievement, a commitment to education as a career and a professional attitude that ensures steady growth in the profession.

Adam Wojewodzki of Coplay was included on the dean's list for the spring 2013 semester at Widener University School of Law, Delaware campus.
Students named to the list must earn a grade-point average in the top 20 percent of their class and division for the semester.

Kelly Ann Kotowski received a doctoral degree in education from California State University June 14.
Kotowski is a 1991 graduate of Whitehall High School and daughter of Loretta Kotowski of Whitehall and the late William Kotowski Sr.
