Wagner Previato has been named Executive Director of WDIY, Lehigh Valley Community Public Radio.

Previato, who began work Aug. 19, will advance strategic direction and oversee programming, marketing, fundraising and technology. He replaces Dr. Bill Dautremont-Smith, who retires this month.

Previato was Director of Marketing and Communications for Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. He was Director of Marketing and Membership for WLRN, the Miami NPR-PBS member station, for five years.

Previato received an MBA from Florida International University and a BA from Brigham Young University. He lives in Bethlehem with his wife and two children.
