Ronald Erb, 74, of Emmaus, died Aug. 12, 2013. He was the husband of Jeanie (Houser) Erb. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George and Caroline (Bitting) Erb.

He was a graduate of Allentown High School, and served in the Air Force for four years.

He was retired from Iron Workers Local 36 in Whitehall, and most recently worked with the sheriff's office providing security at the Lehigh County Courthouse.

He was a life member of the Hogan Social Club.

He loved visiting the beach, especially Wildwood.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Jane Wiley; sister, Marlene and husband Charles Souders; grandchildren, Jordan and Michael; niece and nephew.
