Vincent and Ruthann Yochimowitz, of Cumru Township, Berks County, formerly of Neffs, North Whitehall Township, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynn Marie, to Robert Stephen Zakos Jr., the son of Robert and Beverly Zakos of Catasauqua.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Cedar Crest College. She received a registered dietitian license from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001.

She is a food safety inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Catasauqua High School and The Pennsylvania State University. He received a Master's of social work from West Chester University in 2007.

He is a behavioral health care consultant.

A spring 2014 wedding is planned.
