Retail theft

Pacinte Inouye, 29, of Easton, was charged with for allegedly concealing clothing in a purse and exiting Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown, without paying for the items 2:11 p.m. Aug. 1. The total cost of the items was $360.53. Inouye was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Theft

An unknown actor removed a piece of metal downspout 12:15 p.m. Aug. 1 from a home in the 600 block of East Lynnwood Street.

A 13-year-old boy from Salisbury reported his bike was stolen from Laubach Park 4:21 p.m. Aug. 6 after being approached by five black or Hispanic males. The blue and black Sunday wave bike is valued at $1,500.

Attempted burglary

A resident in the 1400 block of Keystone Road reported an unknown person forced open a rear door off of an elevated patio 9:29 p.m. Aug. 3 but did not enter the home as the alarm sounded.

DUI

Anthony Spitzer, 58, of Northampton, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop for an expired registration in the 3200 block of Lehigh Street 8:13 a.m. Aug. 3. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Antonio Sierra-Cortez, 28, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after a crash in the 700 block of South 25th Street 5:31 a.m. Aug. 5. Police were called to the scene of a crash where police allegedly found Sierra-Corez's car crashed into the bush with loud music playing, the engine running and the driver passed out. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Scam

A resident in the 1300 block of Tweed Avenue reported 10 a.m. Aug. 7 a call was received informing the woman she won $750,000. She was told she would receive the money once she sent a processing fee of $250. The call originated in Fulshear, Texas. Police want to take this opportunity to inform residents to beware of calls like these as they are most likely scams and should be reported to police before sending any cash.

Criminal mischief

A resident in the 700 block of Tioga Street reported 4:55 p.m. Aug. 7 an unknown person smashed three windows out of a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire.

Attempted burglary

A resident in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue reported 9:18 p.m. Aug. 7 an unknown person attempted to enter the home via a back door when a motion light went on.
