Dr. William J. Leary Jr., 72, of Glenside, died Aug. 2, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Buchanan) Leary.

He served as Superintendent of Schools for East Penn School District.

He is survived by his wife; children, William J. III, Michael B., J. Christopher and Gretchen E.; five grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Flourtown Country Club.
