Burglary
Reported by Beverage and Smoke, 6366 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors smashed the glass front door, entered the business, took 400 to 500 packages of cigarettes and fled the scene in a silver sedan 12:22 a.m. July 29. The actors were described as wearing dark pants, dark shoes, teal colored hooded sweatshirts with the hoods pulled up, baseball caps and bandanas covering their faces. Reported at Lower Macungie Self-Storage, 2830 Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors forcibly opened a storage locker and took commercial restaurant equipment of unknown value between 10 a.m. June 15 and 12:12 p.m. July 31. Retail theft
Bibiana Yuriet Soto, 18, of Allentown, and Olga Rosa Dosal, 82, of Allentown, were cited for retail theft after they allegedly took several items from store shelves and placed them in Dosal's purse at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:25 p.m. July 24. The pair allegedly paid for items in their cart and attempted to leave the store with the paid items as well as the unpaid items inside Dosal's purse.
Reported by Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor carried a television, valued at $358 without paying for it and fled 8:01 p.m. July 13.
Grisel Cruz-Alvarez, 33, of Allentown, was issued a non-traffic citation after loss prevention personnel stopped Cruz-Alvarez for allegedly attempting to take $15 worth of various merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:58 p.m. July 13. The citation was filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Found item
Reported at the CVS store, 958 Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, a woman was seen taking a safe out of her black sedan and placing it on the ground outside of the store 1 p.m. July 20. Theft by deception
Reported at Shell gas station, 1915 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown man passed three counterfeit $50 bills to the cashier to obtain change for the counterfeit bills, 4:08 p.m. June 8. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported by a woman, 24, of Topton, an unknown actor took a personal cell phone at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, while she was at work there between 7 a.m. Feb. 6 and noon Feb. 8. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Theft
Reported in the 1400 block of Shilo Road, Lower Macungie Township, solar lights were taken from a yard between midnight and 5 p.m. June 15.
Reported in the 6000 block of Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, two Sharper Image brand speakers were removed from the rear patio between midnight and 9 a.m. July 14. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported in the 7400 block of Woodbine Road, Lower Macungie Township, a clay pot and plant were taken from a front yard overnight July 9.
Reported in the 7000 block of Woodbine Road, Lower Macungie Township, one flower pot filled with dirt was taken overnight July 13.

Reported in the 4700 block of Parkview Drive South, Lower Macungie Township, a strawberry planter and a small concrete turtle were taken from the backyard of a residence overnight July 16. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported at Creamery Park, Creamery Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took a blue handicap parking sign from the parking lot between 7 a.m. July 29 and 11 p.m. July 30.
Simple assault
David Garcia, 29, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for simple assault after he allegedly became involved in an altercation with his girlfriend in the 3000 block of Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, 9:30 p.m. July 12. Garcia was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center.
