Attempted theft
A work vehicle and a personal vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue were gone through 7 a.m. July 12. Nothing was reported missing.
A resident reported an unknown actor went through the glove box of a car parked in the 1100 block of Lehigh Avenue 12:53 p.m. July 12. Nothing was reported missing.
A resident in the 1200 block of Taft Avenue reported 10:04 a.m. July 12 an unknown actor went through a vehicle. Nothing was reported missing.
An unknown actor went through an unlocked vehicle's glove box 10:48 p.m. July 13 in the 1600 block of Allen Avenue.
Vehicle theft
An unknown actor entered one vehicle and stole a second vehicle in the 1700 block of Paxford Road 7:15 a.m. July 12. The stolen vehicle was a light green 2002 Ford Crown Victoria. The keys were in the vehicle when it was taken. The theft has been referred to the Auto Theft Task Force.
Theft from vehicle
An unknown actor removed $86 in cash, five credit cards and a driver's license from an unlocked car parked in the 1300 block of Byfield Street 8:35 a.m. July 12.
A resident in the 1300 block of Voortman Avenue reported 8:48 a.m. July 12, two unlocked vehicles were gone through. Nothing was taken from one of the vehicles and the other vehicle was missing $150 cash and $200 in change.
An unknown actor removed a black Apple iPhone and charger 9:21 a.m. July 12 from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of East Lexington Street.
A resident in the 800 block of East Lexington Street reported the removal of $40 from a locked car 11:07 a.m. July 12.
A resident in the 1600 block of Paxford Road reported 6:18 p.m. July 12, an unknown actor entered a vehicle and removed an unknown amount of change.
A resident in the 1200 block of Taft Avenue reported 2:57 p.m. July 12 an unknown person went through a unlocked vehicle and removed $17 and a credit card.
A resident in the 1300 block of Ueberroth Avenue reported 9:35 a.m. July 12 the removal of $2 from a vehicle parked on the property.
A resident in the 1200 block of Van Vetchen Avenue reported 10 a.m. July 12 an unknown actor went through two vehicles on the property, however, nothing was missing.
Four vehicles in the 2200 block of Yorkshire Circle were reported gone through 9:49 a.m. July 14. All vehicles were unlocked and change and an iPod were removed.
A resident in the 700 block of Yorkshire Road reported 1 p.m. July 15 an unknown actor broke a window on a 2013 Dodge Caravan and removed lottery tickets.
Retail theft
Three females between the ages of 18 and 25 allegedly removed 52 bras from Victoria's Secret, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown 4:48 p.m. July 12. They reportedly were seen at the Palmer Park Mall as well. The total value of the bras was $2,727. The police investigation continues.
Bianca Forbes, 20, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft 7:31 p.m. July 12 for an incident at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown. Forbes was observed allegedly removing jewelry worth $93.97. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Drug
Kahlil Tomlinson, 19 of Allentown, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding during an incident 8:36 July 15 in the 1600 block of Susquehanna Street. Tomlinson was allegedly speeding and when stopped, officers allegedly detected a strong odor of marijuana. After police dog Fonzie arrived on the scene, Tomlinson was taken to Central Booking.
Animal case
Nancy Valazquez, 34, of Allentown, was given a summary citation for cruelty to animals for an incident 1:57 p.m. July 15 in the South Mall parking lot, 3300 Lehigh St. Police were alerted to the report of a brown and black terrier dog inside a car with the window cracked only an inch. The temperature gauge read over 100 degrees in the car. An announcement was made throughout the mall for the owner to come to the car with no response. Police entered the car and removed the dog who was violently panting and exhibited trouble standing. The police gave the dog water and placed the dog in the air conditioned vehicle where it was then taken to the Human Society. Another officer waited for the owner to return to the car.
Assault
Shantana Donegan, 21, of Emmaus, was charged with simple assault, domestic violence and harrassment after an incident on White Oak Lane 7:20 a.m. July 17. The victim allegedly had cuts all over his face and was bleeding. Donegan was taken to Central Booking.
Identity theft
A resident in the 900 block of Buckingham Drive checked his credit report 1:20 p.m. July 13 and found charges made to his credit card in New York.
Theft
A worker at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 Cedar Crest Blvd., reported the theft of a black iPhone in a pink case 10:13 a.m. July 16 while working at the hospital. The phone and case were valued at $600.
