Retail theft
An unknown person removed two items from a locked case at a booth at Black Rose, 3300 Lehigh Ave., 3:30 p.m. June 27. A Civil War sword valued at $630 and a 19th century bayonette valued at $320 were both removed.
Melissa Honeywell, 35, of Emmaus, allegedly removed items from Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh Ave., 5:38 p.m. July 1. Honeywell allegedly removed two gift sets and a pair of pajamas valued at approximately $187.
Identity theft
A resident in the 1600 block of Halstead Street reported 5 p.m. June 29, a Walmart Discover credit card had been opened in their name with a $2,200 credit limit. The card was opened in California and further investigation revealed $2,100 of charges had been placed on the card. Police are investigating.
Drugs
Bradley Amos, 27, of Pennsburg, was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia while at Lehigh Valley Hospital 11:20 a.m. June 30.
Attempted theft
A resident in the 1800 block of Cypress Avenue reported 11:20 a.m. July 1 an unknown person went through the glove compartment of an unlocked vehicle. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.
A resident in the 300 block of Montgomery Street reported 12:30 p.m. July 1 an unknown person went through the glove compartment of a locked vehicle. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.
Vehicle theft
A red 1997 Ford Explorer was reported missing from a home in the 900 block of Montgomery Street 7:29 a.m. July 1. The owner said the key was in the ignition but the car doors were locked. The car had fishing gear and an E-ZPass inside. The Auto Theft Task Force is handling the case.
Theft
An owner of a cabin at Waldheim Park reported two missing boxes of insulin injection pens 8:20 a.m. July 1. There was no medication in the pens.
Theft from vehicle
A resident in the 2000 block of Cypress Avenue reported 11:50 a.m. July 1 an unknown person entered a vehicle and removed Phillies tickets and a small amount of change.
A resident in the 300 block of Montgomery Street reported 9:35 a.m. July 1, an unknown person removed $10 in change from an unlocked vehicle.
A visitor in the 400 block of Paoli Street reported 8:30 a.m. July 10, an unknown person smashed the front passenger side window of the vehicle and stole a purse containing a debit card.
Assault
A 15-year-old female was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly throwing things around a home in the 1600 block of Jeter Avenue 12:31 a.m. July 2. She allegedly threw a jewelry box at an individual. Police also arrived at the same addresss 12:05 a.m. July 3 for a second altercation where the female allegedly damaged a room in the home and struck a female in the face. She was charged with simple assault and harassment and taken to juvenile detention.
Resisting arrest
Michael Gallagher, 27 of Salisbury was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkeness 11:10 p.m. July 4 after an incident in the 1400 block of Susquehanna Street. Gallagher was allegedly chasing a female, yelling and making threats.
DUI
Jon Andrasek, 40, of Allentown, was charged with driving under the influence 9:24 p.m. July 4 in the 800 block of E. Emmaus Avenue following a motor vehicle accident. Andrasek allegedly hit three parked vehicles with his vehicle.
Fugitive from justice
Salisbury police assisted New York State troopers in serving a warrant on Adam Dayton, 22, of Salisbury in the 1300 block of Byfield Street 9:15 p.m. July 7. He was taken to Lehigh County prison.
Bad check
Boots and Saddle Riding Club, 2850 Fish Hatchery Road, reported 4:30 p.m. July 8 a female patron from Upper Macungie paid a registration fee with a $50 check from a closed account.
