May 2014 nuptials

Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Short of Macungie announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Alison Short, to Philip Michael DePoe, son of Scott DePoe and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Siegel of York.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Emmaus High School and Duquesne University.

She is employed by the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Her fiance graduated from York Catholic High School, York, and The Pennsylvania State University.

He is employed by Buchart Horn, Inc., York.

A May 2014 wedding is planned.
