Burglary
At 11:30 a.m. June 10, Macungie police officers, assisted by borough officers from Alburtis and Emmaus, along with state police troopers, were dispatched to a home on Lindfield Circle for a burglary in progress and found a rear window opened and a screen removed. No one was found inside the home. Witnesses reported a white female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with dark hair, possibly shaved on one side, wearing a white and black jogging suit with a white stripe on the pants, approached the front of the house. After knocking and getting no answer, the woman began to walk away while talking on her cell phone. Less than a minute later, a light skinned black or Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, thin build, and wearing a dark colored shirt, baseball hat and jeans, approached the same door. The man entered through the front door. It is believed that when the woman left, she went to an area where she would be able to watch for police and notified the man that police were coming, causing him to leave through the window later found opened. A black Mazda station wagon with dark tinted windows may have been involved in the incident.
