June has been a busy month. It seems to have just begun and is about to end in a few days. It started with Nicole's going up from eighth grade to high school freshman. Then came grandson Ian's high school graduation and preparations for college. Next granddaughter Jess flew over from Germany with her 7-month-old son, Arden, for a two-week visit. This past weekend, daughter Lynn and three siblings went to Chicago to visit Lynn's children. Daughter Robin ends this gathering of family members this weekend when she returns to her home in Arizona. I know time is whizzing by but this morning's mail seemed to confirm my suspicions. I received a calendar for 2014.
Date to remember: July 4, Independence Day.
Alburtis news must be received by July 16 for July 24 publication.
