To the Editor:
These bomb threats [at Emmaus High School] need to stop.
People do not realize these "jokes" cost people time and money that did not need to be spent. Also they do not think of the people who now worry every day their child might be blown up and killed at school. When the first bomb threat occurred, school was closed and police and dogs had to come in and search for a bomb that was never there. People do not realize that this costs the district money.
The way that the state can get that money back is they raise the taxes.
Also students are complaining about the bathroom restrictions that only happened because of the bomb threat.
Due to these restrictions, some more students made bomb threats as retaliation against the bathroom restrictions. Students are also complaining we got days taken away from our spring break but do not realize that the more days we are taken away from school due to these threats, the more days we have to make up.
Students never realize what kind of trouble they put themselves and others in until it's too late and someone has to pay for it the hard way.
Things need to go back to normal and we need to be done with bomb threats.
