Members of the Northampton Area High School Library Club load boxes of gently used children's books onto a pickup truck for Judith's Reading Room. The 1,246 books, donated by students, staff and families, are destined for patients in hospitals such as St. Luke's and to Casa Guadalupe in Allentown. Over the the past four years, the program led by Librarian Sally Madden, has collected 7,000 books. Those loading the books onto the truck include students Cristi Serfass, Jewel Bolden, Molly Boyanoski, Hunter Panier, David Wasilko, Wade Cooper, Daniel Pany and Jared Fantasia. With them is Barb Christman, assistant high school librarian.
