The Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley has announced the hiring of James J. Mueth as Director of Planned Giving and Endowments.

Mueth comes to the Lehigh Valley from Kansas City where he served as vice president and philanthropic relationship manager at Bank of America for the past 15 years.

Mueth, a member of the Missouri Bar, received a juris doctor degree from the University of Missouri School Of Law and a bachelor of arts in political science from Saint Louis University.

He and his wife, Shelah, a pediatric physical therapist, have one daughter, Leah, a student at American University in Washington, D.C.
