You really got him: Dave Davies, the legendary co-founder of the seminal British Invasion rock band, The Kinks, is in concert 8 p.m. June 1, Musikfest Cafe, ArtsQuest Center, SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Guitarist Davies, seen above on the cover of his latest album, "I Will Be Me" (set for release June 4), was an integral part of the quartet that helped shape the sound of rock with Top 10 hits like "All Day and All of the Night," "Lola," "Tired of Waiting for You" and "You Really Got Me," the latter of which features his iconic guitar riff to kick off the song. In 1990, Davies, as a member of The Kinks, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tickets: artsquest.org, 610-332-3378

"Joie" of two: An opening reception for "Joie de Vivre: Karel Mikolas-Antonio Salemme" will be held noon - 5 p.m. June 2, The Antonio Salemme Foundation gallery, 542 W. Hamilton St., Suite 203, Allentown, where the exhibition continues through June 30. "Joie de Vivre" features rarely-shown terra cotta (fired clay) figurative works called bozetti, that represent the initial "sketch" stage of the sculptor's art. In this vein, Mikolas is showing a series of variations on figures of dancers, above, created within the last year. Also on view are ink and charcoal drawings by Mikolas and Salemme, two classically-trained, European-born artists who settled in the Lehigh Valley. Information: 610-433-4150
