Join Whitehall PTO members headed to Philadelphia for the Eagles' preseason game.
The PTO is sponsoring a bus trip to the game for Thursday, Aug. 15. Game time is 7:30 p.m. and the Eagles play the Carolina Panthers.
The bus departs from Whitehall High School at 4:30 p.m. Ticket cost includes round trip bus transportation, game ticket (seats in section 131) and driver gratuity. Return is immediately following the game.

Gockley open house tonight: Families and friends are invited to visit Gockley Elementary tonight, Thursday, May 23, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The PTO will be selling hot dogs and drinks in the cafeteria. Zephyr spirit clothing be available for purchase (cash or checks only).
Transition meeting tonight: Fifth graders and their parents are invited to a transition meeting 6:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, May 23, in the middle school auditorium.
The meeting is designed to help students transition from fifth to sixth grade.
Basketball camp: This year's Zephyr boys basketball camp will take place 9 a.m.-2:45 p.m. June 24-28 at Whitehall High School.
Boys entering grades 3-9 are eligible. Register by June 12 and get a free T-shirt

Springfest: The Gockley Springfest will be held in the cafeteria 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.
Music teacher Mr. Reisteter will be directing the program. Each first-grade class will perform one song in the school cafeteria.
Parents are invited to attend the performance. Park in the football stadium parking lot and enter through the side door by the gym.
Volunteers sought: The PTO is seeking volunteers to assist with Children's Days activities.
These events include a variety of activity stations and even a moon bounce for the students. Volunteers are needed to help man the stations.

Memorial Day: Schools will be closed Monday, May 27, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. School reopens the following day.
Have a safe and happy holiday with family and friends.
Money due: Parents are asked to be sure all cafeteria balances and library fines are paid by June 10.
Final report cards will not be issued to students who have are outstanding balances.
Any remaining money in lunch accounts will carry over to the next school year.
Students keep the same pin numbers as they enter different buildings and grades.
