Congratulations to Sheckler Elementary School students Joelyne Jacob and Paige Bartholomew. Their "No Bullying" posters were awarded runner-up status in state Rep. Harhart's poster contest. Both girls' posters will be on display in the East Wing Rotunda of the State Capitol. The girls and their families are invited to visit the Capitol to have their pictures taken with the posters and to watch the House of Representatives in action. Way to go, girls, for participating in this effort to get the "No Bullying" message out there.

Students in grades 2-4 will be visiting the middle school May 24 to make purchases at the Sixth Grade Fiesta.

Students in Mr. Burker's and Mr. Alley's classes will be going on their field trip to Jacobsburg on May 28. Mr. Wilson's class will go on June 3.

The Sheckler lost and found is filled up with many items. If you are missing any of your child's things, have them check it out. At the end of the school year, unclaimed items are donated to Goodwill.
