The Northampton Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation has scheduled its fourth annual golf tournament for Monday, June 17, at Woodstone Country Club and Lodge in Danielsville.

The foundation is a 510(c)3 nonprofit, tax-exempt community organization whose goal is to support and finance innovative programs to enhance the quality of education for Northampton Area School District students.

Tax-deductible sponsorships of this event are available.

The tournament fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, hot dog lunch, beverages, snacks and a dinner buffet overlooking the golf course.

It will be a four-man scramble format with awards given for putting, hole in one, longest drive, closest to the pin and ball drop.

No school: Students in grades 9, 10 and 12 have a day off tomorrow, Friday, May 24. Juniors will be presenting their graduation projects that day.

School is also closed Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.

Borough Nights of Music: Borough Elementary Strings recital will be performed Thursday, May 30.

The Borough Elementary Band recital will be presented Friday, May 31.

Both performances will be held at the Siegfried building starting at 7 p.m.
