There will be a community awareness presentation and question-and answer-session on Common Core standards for Pennsylvania school districts 7-9 p.m. June 3, at Hope Community Church, 7974 Claussville Road, Fogelsville.

She also was advisor to President Ronald Reagan on education reform and consultant for the U.S. Department of Education.
