Zephyr Elementary School's open house is tonight, Thursday, May 16.
Held 6:30-8:30 p.m., it will feature a Zephyr spirit clothing sale and a Relay for Life basket raffle.
Gockley open house: Mark your calendars for the upcoming open house at Gockley Elementary 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23.
Families and friends are invited to visit that evening. The PTO will be selling hot dogs and drinks in the cafeteria. Zephyr spirit clothing be available for purchase with cash or checks.
Zephyr track and field day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21.
Students need to dress appropriately for weather conditions. Be sure to wear sneakers, and bring a water bottle. The raindate is May 23.
Market Day pick-up: Don't forget to pick up your PTO Market Day food items at the middle school 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22.
First-grade Spring fest: The Gockley Springfest will be held in the cafeteria 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.
Music teacher Mr. Reisteter will be directing the program. Each first-grade class will be performing one song in the school cafeteria.
Parents are invited to attend the performance. Park in the football stadium parking lot and enter through the side door by the gym.
Volunteers wanted: The PTO is seeking volunteers to assist with one of three Children's Days activities scheduled for the elementary buildings.
These events include a variety of activity stations and even a moon bounce for the students. Volunteers are needed to help man the stations.

Whitehall Dorney Park nights: Whitehall students and their families can go to Dorney Park and pay a reduced rate after 5 p.m. Friday nights, May 10, 17, 24 and 31 and June 7.
Each building has tickets available on request. The offer is good for up to two admissions on those dates only.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Whitehall Ski Boarding Club.
Steckel box tops: Steckel will continue to collect Boxtops for Education through May 18 with the final tally being announced in June.
Boxtops for Education are found on General Mills products. The company will donate 10 cents for each box top collected.
