Sheckler Elementary School Fourth-Grade Band members will hold their concert for families and friends tonight, Thursday, May 16, 7 p.m., at the school.

First-grade students will be going on a field trip May 17 to The Wildlands Conservancy.

Mrs. Pearl, Sheckler's gym teacher, will be holding fun days for students in each grade level on a specified day. The annual fun days are filled with outdoor activities for students. First grade fun day will be May 21; second grade on May 22, third grade on May 23 and fourth grade on May 31.

Be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and be ready for a fun-filled day.

Fourth-grade students will be visiting Catasauqua Middle School May 17 to tour the building and meet the team of fifth-grade teachers, as well as Mrs. Inselmann and Mr. Klauss. They will learn what it's like on a typical day in the middle school. This is all tied into making their transition from elementary to middle school an enjoyable experience in the fall.
