Joseph Horoschak, 87, of Bethlehem, died May 11, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Mary (Prima) Horoschak for 55 years.
Born in Atlas-Mt. Carmel, he was the son of the late Julian and Alexandra (Herbert) Horoschak.
He graduated in 1950 from St. Joseph's University with a degree in accounting.
He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a licensed public accountant until he was 83 years old. He was a self-employed licensed public accountant, working from his home for the last 35 of those years, until he retired.
He was a member of and active with Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Catasauqua, where he was a Sunday school teacher and president of the church council.
He was one of the founding members of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants. He was a PIAA swim official. He was a member of the Hellertown American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nina and her husband Christopher Bagshaw and Christina and her husband Bill Reynolds; and four grandchildren, Halle and Andrew Bagshaw and Steffi and Billy Reynolds.
He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
