SALISBURY HAPPENINGS Band piece salutes late Superintendent Robert Gross

The Salisbury High School spring concert was held May 14. Performances included the a cappella group "Descant Get Enough," the block and club choruses, the Jazz Band and the Concert Band.

Many attendees enjoyed "Aquatica," a band piece commissioned by Dr. Scott Watson of Parkland High School given to the Salisbury Concert Band, in honor of the late Salisbury Superintendent Robert R. Gross III.

The night concluded with the premiere of "Valedictory," a piece arranged and directed by senior Alan Mendez celebrating graduating and moving on with life.
