Whitehall High School student Christian Tran has been named as the Woman's Club of Whitehall Girl of the Month for March.

Tran, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thanh Tran, has attained high honor roll and honor roll all marking periods. She is a member of the Leo, Art and Ski clubs, along with the Math League.

She also serves as the treasurer of the National Honor Society, historian of the Spanish National Honor Society and is a member of Mu Alpha Theta. She was also named as the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Group TNTT of the Month and a ninth grade Student of the Month.

In addition to her school activities, Tran is a pianist, member of the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Group, a volunteer with the Whitehall Public Library and a vacation Bible school volunteer.

Tran plans to attend a four-year university and is considering majoring in mathematics or medicine.
